Wont open

The app seems intriguing, but Im not able to open it. Ive downloaded multiple times but every time I try to open it, it crashes instantly. Please fix.

Really, people?

Disclaimer: This app is just for fun. It will not accurately predict yours or anyone elses actual death dates. The point is to look at the concept of time through a different perspective. This app and the Exploratorium are in no way claiming God-like powers to predict the date of your death. Really, no one should have to say any of the above, but some people just dont get it.

Kids need to STOP complaining

Its an awesome app! But I hate it when I see little kids rate this app badly because its too "gory" or "morbid." Like COME ON! Grow up!

Great Job!

This game is interesting and fun to play around with, but has anyone noticed that every person you type lives for 79.6 years. I still havent tested how old someone would be if they were over that age.

Really...thats it???

Was intrigued by the concept, but the app is extremely limited. I literally exhausted all the functionality in 2 minutes. I think this would be better suited as a widget on a website.

Im sad

I put in my birthday (March 12 2005) and it said I was going to die March 11 2017. I only have a year to live. Hopefully this is accurate or I am worried for nothing lol

300Mb for this?

I really want to know what is in this app that requires it to need to have over 300mb? Is there something else underneath or am I missing something?!

Doesnt even open on iphone 6

Does not open. iPhone 6 international unlocked, iOS 8.4.1

Great

Dont listen to anyone 13 or under who comments, they are just frightened about how "less" time they have to enjoy this app. Cmon, its an app. If you find it so morbid, delete it. Grow up. Its good to trick your friends with, to ponder on your lingering curiosity. I recommend it, of course only if your mature enough to handle something thats not even that big of a deal.

Crashes

Upon opening it the app crashes.

Crashing "fix

I had the open -> immediate crash issue, but only on my iPhone 6, not on my iPad. Anyway, I was running an iOS 8.4 version or whatever. Updated to iOS 9.3 and it was immediately fixed. App opened effortlessly. All that said, I agree with others that the App is quickly exhausted and interest is quickly lost - and for 300 MB, Im going to delete it.

borderline morbid

it sounds like such a fun idea in theory but when you see the span of your life drawn out in minor numbers, it becomes way less fun. gtg im on the verge of another existential crisis

Fun

Lol this is cool

Dumb

If youre going to predict when I might die maybe you should ask things like "smoker or non smoker? How often do you exercise? Any health issues? Do you have kids? Ethnicity? Weight/height? Whats your diet like? Etc." but all this does is ask when are you born? Ok, so youll die on this day. It would be cool if there was an app that asked a bunch of questions and then determined when it thought you would die. Obviously, there are just about a gazillion ways to die but were just talking about natural causes or some kind of illness. Anyway, nobody exists on purpose, nobody belongs anywhere. Everyone is gonna die. Go watch TV.

Nice

I have a question? What if I died? Does this thing stop? Cause my grandma died and it didnt stop...

Where is it?

Just downloaded it twice and it wont load. Just goes back to my icons.

Spooky...

App works swimmingly!!! But, it does puts things into perspective.

Very Interesting

While yes, it is semi depressing it is also quite neat. Its fun to see what lies ahead and how your life could pan out whether that be lighting strikes, cats lives or even farts. If that causes too much of an existential crisis look at the life youve lived an enjoy that portion.

Great idea. Horrible execution.

Every time you start the app you have to enter the birthday. It gives you all the little statistics at once. Those are the two biggest flaws. The way the app is designed it is like the developers intended you to download it once for a day and then delete the app. How they could have done it as a notification device. Simply have the app record your birthday and then every so often send an alert reminding you how many cat farts or whatever there will be until you die. They could also run the statistics for weight, heart, smokers and so forth. They could provide links to healthy living tips and the like. They could have done just about anything to make this better.

ok then

apparently those born in 1906 are expected to live 111 years
